I have a spyware on my laptop called Alpha Anti Virus. The problem is it is a spyware. I still have to get rid of it. So i was wondering what is the best anti spyware on the market. Any recommendations?

I was messing around with some programs on my computer’s Programs and Features menu and I uninstalled “PC-Doctor” which my computer said was installed on 2007 and that I rarely used it. Did I need that?
I bought My HP computer new last year and I run Vista Home Premium.

I have a Windows 7 operating system and I have noticed if I walk away from it for awhile it shuts down or goes into a sleep mode? Anyway, I do not know exactly how to fix it where it will just stay on while using it. This is so new and it is somewhat difficult to understand. Thank you
